The Ingstad BC is a modern backcountry sk, designed for speed and agile turns. It's the ideal ski for challenging descents and extended traverses on flat terrain. It's stable, easy to turn, and easy to handle in deep snow and challenging terrain.
Ingstad BC skis are equipped with Skinlock, so that a climbing skin can be quickly attached. For this ski, we recommend a 58 mm nylon X-Skin for wet and steep terrain or a narrower mohair skin (45 mm) for cold temperatures and flat terrain.
Helge Ingstad, once governor of Greenland and Svalbard, was known as a trapper, polar hero and scientist. He published several bestsellers about hunting in Canada, Greenland and Svalbard. With this work, he contributed to the creation of heroic depictions of the hunter's adventurous life.
